Though the recipe only requires three large chicken breasts, I typically cook five to six chicken breasts in my large seven quart crock pot. This would be enough to either double this recipe or to cook chicken for two recipes at once like this cheesy chicken and noodles recipe.

When I make this crock pot chicken recipe, I often use my larger ten quart crockpot and double the recipe to make sure I end up with enough buffalo chicken for leftovers for my husband to take to work or for an easy lunch when my kids come home from morning karate training.
