Teriyaki chicken and rice is one of my family’s favorite dinners.  In fact, it’s part of one of our weekly family traditions, Fried Rice Friday.  It works well with the Macro eating plan I have been following as well as the Trim Healthy Mama and 21 Day Fix plans.  Plus, it is a kid-friendly staple in our once a month cooking menu.

Delicious Teriyaki chicken recipe is super simple and fits the 21 day fix, and trim healthy mama plans. Plus, it is once a month cooking friendly.

Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tsp soy sauce

1.25 Tbsp red wine vinegar

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/2 cup sugar

3/4 tsp ginger

1/2 cup water

1 tsp minced garlic

Preparation

Arrange chicken in crock pot.  Pour ingredients over chicken.  Check after a couple of hours and spoon marinade over the chicken.  Cook on low for a total of 6 hours. Serve over rice.
