That’s right, parents! Dollywood is once again offering free preschool passes for the 2023 season. If you have a child between the ages of 3 and 5, you can get a free Preschool Pass that will allow them to visit Dollywood as many times as they want during the operating season. How to Get Your Free Dollywood Preschool Pass
Getting a Dollywood Pre-K Imagination Pass for your 4 or five year old child is pretty simple. Just follow these three simple steps:
Step 1 – Register on the Dollywood Website
You can get your free Pre-K Imagination Season Pass by visiting the Dollywood website to register your child online. You’ll need to provide some basic information about your child, including their name, date of birth, and mailing address.
Step 2 – Present Proof of Birth Year
After you register online, bring your child to the Dollywood front gate with a photocopy of their birth certificate or passport to confirm their birth year in order to process their pass.
Step 3 – Enjoy visiting Dollywood!
Once you’ve completed the registration process, your child will be able to visit both Dollywood and Dolly’s Splash Country for the entire season at no cost!
Please note that only one Preschool Pass will be issued per child. Additionally, proof of age (such as a birth certificate or passport) will be required when picking up your child’s pass at the park entrance. So be sure to have that handy when you come to visit.

What is the Dollywood Pre-K Imagination Season Pass?
The Dollywood Pre-K Imagination Season Pass is a free season pass to both Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country for children born in 2018 or 2019 at the time of this post (November 2022). Children can register online for the pass and, once the pass is activated, your Pre-K child can visit the remainder of the 2022 season and all of 2023.
Do kids under 4 need a ticket at Dollywood?
Children under the age of 4 do not need a ticket or season pass to visit Dollywood. This means that children under age 4 do not need to register for a Pre-K Imagination pass in order to get free admission to Dollywood.
How many Pre-K Imagination Passes can I get?
One Pre-K Imagination pass will be issued per child. Just like with the Dolly’s Imagination Library program, multiple children in the same household can participate.
Do I have to live in Tennessee to get the tickets?
You do not have to be a Tennessee resident to get the Pre-K Imagination Pass for Dollywood. Many families vacation in the Smokey Mountains and visit Dollywood several days of that vacation. There is so much to see in the park, especially at Christmas time, that it is difficult to see and experience everything in one day. From the Christmas lights, to the rides to the shows, Dollywood is an incredible experience.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Reservations are no longer required for to visit to Dollywood Parks and Resorts. Any existing reservations will be honored. However, based on demand, park entry could be delayed due to available park capacity.

The Pre-K Imagination Passes are valid on all days of the week that Dollywood is open. Operating days and hours are available on the Dollywood website or on the Dollywood app.
