At Doggywood, dogs will be cared for by experienced pet attendants.

How much does doggywood cost?

The price for boarding dogs at Doggywood is surprisingly reasonable when you consider the quality of care your furry friend will receive. Cost for the 2023 season is:

Kennel Run $25 per day
Cottage $35 per day

Will doggywood hosts walk my dog?

Doggywood hosts are not permitted to walk the dogs at Doggywood. You should plan some trips back to the front of the park throughout the day to walk your pup. Owners are required to pick up after their dog in the space provided for walks.

Who feeds the dogs at doggywood?

An unlimited supply of water is provided for dogs who stay at Doggywood. Owners are required to provide an adequate supply of food and any comfort items needed by their dogs for the day.

Does Doggywood require reservations?

Reservations are not required for Doggywood, however, the cottages and runs fill up quickly so it is best to plan ahead and make a reservation for your dog. Without a reservation, Doggywood will not be able to guarantee availability on the day of your visit.

Does doggywood allow overnight stays?

Doggywood does not offer overnight stays. All dogs must be claimed no later than 15 minutes after the park’s closing.

When is Doggywood open?

Doggywood follows the Dollywood operating schedule. The operating schedule can be found here or on the Dollywood app.

How early can I drop my dog at Doggywood?

Doggywood accepts dogs 30 minutes prior to Dollywood’s published opening time. This does include the early hours included for Dollywood Season Pass holders.

Where is Doggywood located?

Doggywood is conveniently located right across from Guest Services at the Dollywood Gate. You can quickly drop your dog and begin your day in the park.

Do Season Pass Holders get a discount at Doggywood?

If you have a Dollywood Gold Season Pass, Doggywood will honor the Gold pass discounts on all pet stays at Doggywood.

Requirements for Doggywood

All pets visiting Doggywood must have written proof from a veterinarian that they are up-to-date on their Rabies and Bordetella vaccines. Owners may bring a copy to present at check-in, or ask your veterinarian’s office to email it to GSAdmissions@dollywood.com before you arrive.

What if I have to cancel?

You may cancel reservations for Doggywood and receive a full reservation refund if you cancel your visit by 5:00 p.m. the day prior to arrival. Cancellations made after 5:00 p.m. the day before your arrival are not subject to a refund.

Can other pets stay at Doggywood?

Doggywood is only equipped to handle dogs. Other pets may be boarded at other kennels in the Pigeon Forge area.
