For creamier cheese sauce you can substitute half of the half and half with heavy cream. To thin the sauce out, you can sub in some whole milk.

How to make crockpot Mac and Cheese
Making macaroni and cheese in the slow cooker could not be easier, and it tastes just as good as the stove top version. Plus, you can prep this recipe in less than 10 minutes!
First, you will combine the half and half with the cheddar cheese soup and whisk together until it is a smooth sauce.
Next, add your spices to the cheese sauce and whisk well. The paprika, salt and pepper make a tasty combination, but you can use other spices as well to create the taste you prefer!
Once your cheese sauce is mixed in the crockpot, pour in the UNCOOKED pasta and half of the cheddar cheese and mix together well.
Then top the mixture with the other half of the cheddar cheese.
Finally, put the lid on the slow cooker, set on low, and allow to cook for three hours.
Crockpot mac and cheese only takes about two to three hours to cook in your slow cooker. Make sure you check on the macaroni periodically and stir it during the cooking process so that it doesn’t stick to the sides or burn. When the noodles are soft, creamy cheese sauce should have formed around them. Serve it up hot and enjoy!

- 6 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 cups colby jack cheese
- 3 tbsp butter
- 5 1/2 cups half and half
- 2 15 ounce cans Campbells Cheddar Cheese condensed soup
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Combine half & half with cheese soup in the crockpot and whisk together well.
- Add spices to the sauce mix and whisk well.
- Pour in uncooked pasta and stir to coat.
- Stir in half of the shredded cheeses.
- Top with remaining cheeses.
- Place lid on slow cooker and set to low.
- Cook for 3 hours, stirring as needed to prevent sticking.
- Serve as a meal or a side dish!
Use any type of small pasta.
Use another mixture of cheeses remembering to avoid lots of a greasy cheese.
