I have come to love sheet pan cooking. Most sheet pan meals are easy to prepare and require minimal clean up. Over the years, I have come up with some super easy sheet pan recipes that can be made ahead as once a month cooking meals and are even kid approved!
How do I make sheet pan chicken fajitas?
Making sheet pan fajitas is really simple (almost has easy as these Five Ingredient Crock Pot Chicken Fajitas) and can be done from prep to serve in under an hour.
First, decide what vegetables you want to include. I typically include red, orange and yellow bell peppers and some onions. You can use whatever you have in the house that will go well with your seasoning. Chop your vegetables and set them aside in a large mixing bowl.
Next, coat your veggies and your chicken in olive oil, then coat well with your seasoning mixture.
Finally, spread your fajitas on a prepared sheet pan and bake until the veggies are soft and the meat is cooked through.
Must Have tools and Resources
Making fajitas is super easy and can be done with tools you likely already have in your kitchen, but there are certainly some items that make preparing sheet pan meals easier.
Specialty Ingredients
The following ingredients can be found in any local grocery store, but I have listed them here as amazon links to make this meal even easier. You can have them delivered right to your door and make your fajitas the night your ingredients arrive!

How can I easily coat the chicken and vegetables in seasoning mix?
To easily coat the chicken and veggies in seasoning mix I put them in a plastic ziplock bag then put the oil in and shake the chicken and veggies until coated with oil. The I put the seasoning mix in the bag and shake until well coated. If the bag is too full, I shake and coat half at a time.
Can I make sheet pan chicken fajitas with frozen chicken strips?
Yes! This is a super time saver. I typically buy frozen fully cooked chicken strips from Aldi for this recipe. Then I only need to bake the meal until the veggies start to soften.
