E-Cloth Range and Stovetop {Review}

Ecloth review header

When I was offered the opportunity to try out an E-cloth product, the e-cloth Range and Stovetop Pack was a no brainer for me.  My stove is probably my most used appliance and the most neglected in cleaning because it is always in use.  I typically cook three meals each day.  However, homeschooling 5 children and caring for a baby does not always leave time for extensive clean up after each meal.  E-cloth promised efficient, chemical free cleaning, and it delivered!

About E-Cloth

E-cloth is a company that believes chemical free cleaning isn’t a product, but a lifestyle change.  Their products give customers a choice to clean differently in order to clean better with less effort, and make homes safer by eliminating toxic chemicals.

E-cloth claims that using an e-cloth and just water can give your home the best clean it’s ever had with less effort and expense than your current cleaning method.  The cloths are made of polyester and nylon, so they don’t “absorb” anything.  Water, dirt, oil, grease, grime and even bacteria are trapped within the fibers – so the more fibers you have the better the cloth works.  The best cloths on the market have betwee 90,00 and 200,00 fibers per square inch.  E-cloth has 1.6 million fibers per square inch.

By eliminating the need for toxic household chemicals, e-cloth is better for the home, family and the environment.

About the Stovetop and Range Pack

The Stovetop and Range Pack includes one (1) 12.5″x12.5″ range and stovetop cloth and one (1) 18″x15.5″ finishing cloth.

The dual sided Range & Stovetop Cloth has a smooth side for grease, oil and general cleaning, and a scrubbing stripes side to remove stuck on hardened messes without scratching surfaces, all using just water.  The other side of the cloth has blue scrubbing stripes to remove tough grease and grime on and around burners, cooktops, and other stove surfaces without scratching the surfaces.  The Range and Stovetop cloth is guaranteed for up to 300 machine washes.

The other cloth in the set is the Finishing cloth.  The Finishing cloth provides superior cleaning of all glass (except electronic screens). This cloth is perfect for ceramic cooktops.  In addition, the Finishing cloth can be used to clean all your glass surfaces and add a final polishing touch to most hard surfaces.

How I Used the E-cloth Range and Stovetop Cloth

In order to give a thorough review of the e-cloth product, I decided to really put it to the test on the most difficult stove top mess we create in our home.  I grilled hamburgers on the stove.  This is typically the most messy meal I prepare, as the hamburger grease gets everywhere.

After our meal was over, I simply wet the dual sided Range and Stovetop cloth with warm water and began wiping down my ceramic cooktop and the counters around it.

Impressions

I was completely impressed with the Range and Stovetop Pack, and so was my husband.  He could no believe that I had cleaned up the hamburger mess with only the e-cloth and water.

I would highly recommend e-cloth products for families that would like to limit exposure to toxic chemicals and expedite household cleaning!

  1. I would try the stovetop cloth, but curious, would it hurt anything if I used dish soap and water out of habit? I assume it wouldn’t hurt the cloths.

  2. Both of these cloths sound amazing! I have been doing so much research on what I am using in my house and it makes me so sad to think about all the toxins I have been introducing to my family. I really wish I had known about all this earlier! I am having to take baby steps to change everything out though….a little at a time so I don’t break the bank if you know what I mean!
