Dollywood spent an entire off season redesigning their parking and traffic flow areas to make parking at Dollywood easy and convenient. Dollywood’s handicap parking spaces are located near the entrances to the park. Guests with disabilities can use the designated spaces and then enter the park through the special needs entrance. This entrance is located at the end of the main parking lot near the guest services building. Guests with disabilities can also use the regular entrances to the park, but they may find it more convenient to use the special needs entrance.

Is handicap parking free at Dollywood?
Handicap parking at Dollywood is not free. There is a charge for all parking at Dollywood for all guests. However, the handicap spaces are located much closer to the Dollywood entrance at no additional charge to the guest. Other guests can only park this close by paying for Dollywood’s preferred parking.

Dollywood’s handicap parking policy is simple: all cars with a valid handicap parking permit are allowed to park in any of the designated handicap parking spots, regardless of whether or not the driver has a Dollywood season pass. Guests who need a wheelchair can sign up for one at the guest services building. The park also has a few electric scooters available for rent. These scooters are for guests who have difficulty walking long distances. Guests who need an electric scooter can sign up for one at the guest services building as well, but priority will be given to those who have made a reservation in advance.
