You are their primary influence, and they are watching and learning from you every day. That’s a big responsibility!

Luckily, you’re not alone. God is with you, and He has given us His Word to guide us. Here are some encouraging Bible verses for the homeschooling mom.These verses can encourage and remind you of God’s presence and power in your homeschooling journey.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

This is one of my personal favorites because it reminds me that when I am feeling tired, burned out, or like I can’t do this homeschooling thing anymore, that I can wait on the Lord and He will give me the strength I need to carry on. It’s okay to take a break, ask for help, or even take a day (or two) off when you need to! You don’t have to do it all by yourself – God is always there to help you.

And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Isaiah 54:13

This verse is such a beautiful promise for homeschooling parents! We can trust that God will guide our children in their learning, and that He will give us the wisdom we need to teach them well. Pray for God’s guidance often, and He will surely provide all that you need.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

Homeschooling is such a great opportunity to instill godly character traits in our kids! We can teach them about Christ every day, not just on Sundays or Wednesdays. What a blessing it is to be able to direct our children’s education at home!

This verse is a great reminder that our efforts as parents are not in vain. We may not see the results of our labor immediately, but if we are faithful to train our children in the ways of the Lord, eventually they will come to know Him for themselves and make Him known to others. So keep going, mama! You’re doing a great work.
