I was never a fan of broccoli. I always knew it was healthy and green and I really should eat it for the vitamins and minerals it contains, but I never really liked it.
I didn’t know until my youngest daughters started speech therapy that it isn’t the taste of broccoli I don’t like, but the texture. There is something about biting though those little stalks and then the little balls of the flowering part that I don’t like the feeling of.

Broccoli Slaw Salad with Ramen Noodles Recipe
Specialty Ingredients
The following ingredients are affiliate links on Amazon (except the broccoli slaw) because they might be difficult to find in the regular grocery store and I wanted you to see exactly what they are.
When I first tasted this recipe, I asked the friend who made it, “How do you make broccoli slaw?” She quickly told me that is comes in a bag in the produce department. I am sure you could make your own with a cabbage shredder, but the bagged kind keeps this recipe super easy.
- Ramen Noodles
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Broccoli Slaw
Recipe Tips and Instructions
First you will want to empty the broccoli slaw into a large bowl with an airtight lid for storage later. Then you will want to empty the contents of the ramen noodle packets into a larger ziplock bag, setting aside the flavor packets.
Once the noodles are in the plastic bag, make sure to press the air out of the bag before sealing. Then crush the noodles with the flat side of a meat tenderizer. Then, mix the slaw and noodles together.
Mix all of the other ingredients well in a separate mixing bowl, then pour over the broccoli slaw and ramen mixture and mix until coated well.
Finally, chill the salad covered in the refrigerator for an hour before serving.
