Free Dollywood Tickets for Foster Families
The Dollywood Company welcomes foster families to spend time in their theme parks by providing free tickets for foster families.
How do I request my free dollywood tickets?
Per the Dollywood Community Relations Department: These ticket requests must be submitted through the representing foster organization.
If you would like to request free Dollywood tickets for your foster family, contact your foster care agency and ask that they submit the appropriate forms to request the tickets.
For information regarding the Foster Families program, your foster agency should inquire at guestservices@dollywood.com.
How many tickets to Dollywood can I get for my foster family?
The Dollywood Community Relations policy published on the website regarding tickets for foster families states: the number of tickets requested must match the number of children listed on the foster license.
Dollywood will provide one ticket per child listed on the family foster care license. This includes all of the children in your home, including your biological and adopted children.
Dollywood does not provide tickets for the adults in your home, however, my foster care agencies will provide tickets for the foster parents.
How many times can I get free Dollywood tickets for my foster family?
Each family is only allowed one request per park per year. However, there are ways to stretch out the fun of visiting Dollywood beyond the one day ticket.
If you visit Dollywood after 3pm, you get in the next day for free. You can also upgrade your ticket to a season pass. Upgrading your free Dollywood tickets to season passes gets you children’s passes for half the cost.
Can my ticket be upgraded to a Dollywood Season Pass?
Any one day Dollywood ticket can be upgraded to a Dollywood Season Pass. To make the most of this upgrade, request your tickets early in the Dollywood season which usually begins in March each year. You can view the full Dollywood calendar here.
When is the best time for foster families to visit dollywood?
No matter what time of year you visit Dollywood, there will always be something fun or your foster children to do, from rides to shows, to crafts demonstrations and festivals, Dollywood never disappoints.
Can I bring my special needs foster child to Dollywood?
Yes! Dollywood has made huge strides over the last few years to accommodate special needs children. From providing a quiet room for children to calm, to allowing disability passes for children for rides, Dollywood has become a “visit possible” destination for special needs families.
What should I bring for a visit to dollywood?
Visiting a Dollywood theme park can be lots of fun for the whole family, but you must be prepared. Consider things like weather, how long you will be in the park, food and what you plan to do.
