If your  looking for new family traditions for each holiday. These Resurrection Rolls or Empty Tomb Rolls are great. Delicious enough for the whole family to enjoy, yet simple enough to make for little hands.

This crescent roll and marshmallow recipe makes the perfect sweet treat to tell the account of Jesus resurrection

Ingredients: Large Marshmallows Cinnamon Sugar Water Crescent Rolls

Kitchen Tools:  2 small mixing      bowls  One sheet of wax   paper for each child  Spoon  Cookie sheet

Preheat the oven to the temperature listed on the crescent roll package. While preheating give each of the children a piece of wax paper to work on.

Roll out the crescent rolls. Give each child a crescent roll. Tell them to be careful to no tear the cloth.

Give each child a marshmallow, dip them in water and then roll them in the cinnamon and sugar.

Have each child wrap the marshmallow in the crescent roll. Be sure to completely seal the edges of the crescent roll making a sealed “tomb”

When all of your marshmallows are wrapped in crescent rolls, space them evenly on a non-stick baking sheet and bake.

When the rolls begin to brown on the top, pull them from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes.

When the rolls are cooled, pull them open and see that the marshmallow is gone and all that is left is the gooey sweet empty tomb center
